These photos show the end fittings of the early style boom for a roller-furling main. The overall length of the extrusion (without the end fittings) is exactly 120 inches or 10 feet. The last photo shows where the boom vang attaches to the boom. A metal yardstick was placed in the bolt-rope groove for reference.
